Growth Story of a 3TREES Supplier: Dongnan New Materials Co., Ltd.
Dongnan New Materials Co., Ltd. was established in November 2010, which is a technology company integrating production, operation, and R&D. The company is a vice president member and executive council member of the calcium and magnesium branch of China Inorganic Salts Industry Association, and has led and participated in the formulation and revision of four national standards and eight industry standards. It has a provincial-level enterprise technology center, and is a science and technology-oriented enterprise, an innovative pilot enterprise and a superior intellectual property enterprise in Fujian Province.
Excellence attracts excellence. In 2010, 3TREES started cooperation with Dongnan as a supplier of high-quality calcium carbonate products, which supplied it with nearly 6,000 tons a year. In the subsequent two years of cooperation, Dongnan received consistent high rating from 3TREES in terms of both products and services. In light of their excellent cooperation over the two years and following a comprehensive evaluation of the company in the first half of 2013, 3TREES upgraded its partnership with Dongnan by contacting the production of its putty powder in Fujian to Dongnan. In the same year, Dongnan supplied approximately 3,700 tons of putty power to 3TREES.
Excellence grows with excellence. Following three years of rapid business growth from 2014, 3TREES went public on the A-share market in 2016, and its partner factories also increased to more than 30. During the period, Dongnan further deepened its cooperation with 3TREES and introduced many corporate mechanisms and management concepts from 3TREES. The three years also saw an exponential growth of Dongnan’s putty power output, which increased from 20,000 tons in 2014 to 40,000 tons in 2015 to 65,000 tons in 2016, making Dongnan a benchmark of 3TREES’s factory partners, and the company received many delegations and study visits from other factories.
3TREES is committed to win-win cooperation with partners. At present, the two sides are discussing further deepening cooperation in upstream raw materials and packaging materials, paving the way to more success stories for them.
