In an effort to strictly implement the national laws, regulations and policies for environmental protection, 3TREES has invested tens of millions of yuan for continuous improvement in its pollution control facilities and risk prevention measures, and has made remarkable achievements in environmental management.

For disposal of waste gas, sedimentation dust removal and activated carbon adsorption regeneration devices have been installed in Wood Lacquer Workshops A and B, Adhesive Workshop and Resin Workshop. After treatment through various dust removal and degassing devices of the waste gas produced during production effective control of air pollution in the factory area, reduction in direct discharge of a large number of pollutants and improvement in product quality can be achieved.

For treatment of waste water, a physical and biochemical treatment process is adopted in 3TREES Wastewater Treatment Station which brings great improvement in the treatment.

For treatment of solid wastes, a perfect hazardous waste storage and one for general solid waste stacking are in place at 3TREES. And a boiler "oil to gas" project was carried out in 2011 for 3TREES’s classified collection of solid wastes, using natural gas instead of fuel oil, which brought about great reduction in the emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. And a closed sand mill was installed in place of the former three-roll mill, which has brought reduction in the disorderly discharge of toluene/xylene in the wood lacquer workshop, improving the working and safety environment thereof. Investment in environmental risk emergency facilities have been Increased as fire engines, top pressure sticking plugging tools, air respirators, fire insulation clothing, fire chemical protective clothing and other facilities were added in addition to the original fire protection facilities, thus further improving the environmental safety risk emergency responsiveness of the company.
