On March 21, 2012, more than 500 enterprise representatives from the upstream and downstream of the real estate industry chain gathered together to witness the release of the 2012 list of China’s Top 100 Real Estate Developers. The event also released the 2012 Preferred Suppliers of China’s Top 500 Real Estate Developers, which featured 3TREES, the coatings supplier of Fortune 50 developers such as Evergrande, Vanke, Wanda, Country Garden, Hopson Development, Greenland and R&F Properties.  

The recognition event was jointly organized by Chinese Real Estate Research Association, China Real Estate Association, and China Real Estate Appraisal. The lists were produced following a process involving nine stages, including application by suppliers, preliminary review, online vote, press release of preferred suppliers of top 500 developers, nomination by experts, online word-of-mouth evaluation, evaluation by a judge panel comprising procurement executives, case tour, report release, and trade fair, which lasted a year.
