With Greater Responsibility Comes Greater Commitment
At 3TREES, Ms. Xu Lifang, vice president responsible for administrative affairs, is a model for everyone. Fondly called Mammy Xu by younger employees, she has served at the company for 15 years and contributed to the company’s rapid growth.
Good-natured and obliging, she always has a smile on her face, with the corners of her eyes occasionally betraying her years. She shows great care to all colleagues with considerate acts of kindness, especially for employees who are remote from their homes. She is called Mammy Xu because she is so motherly and well loved by all colleagues.
The administrative department is the glue that holds the company together and is under the able leadership of Ms. Xu. In the month in the run-up to the annual party and the annual dealers conference of 3TREES, she would not only make sure that all things under her charge is well completed on time but also stay available for work in every night. In one year, she even skipped the entire Spring Festival holiday for preparation of the two important events.
In order for the annual party to take place successfully, all departments would prepare their performances, and Ms. Xu would make it a point to be personally involved in each and every performance from organization to rehearsal inspection. And in order for the preparation not to affect normal work, rehearsals and acceptance inspections mostly take place in the night, often beginning in around 22:00 and lasting until after 24:00. Driven by her perfectionism and keen sense of responsibility, Ms. Xu, already in her 50s, proves herself no less energetic than young people.
The annual party often has over three thousand participants, and Ms. Xu would pay attention to even the minutest details such as safety, food and drinks. On the one hand, she would ask 3TREES employees to help out the venue staff, and on the other hand, she would arrange and coordinate matters on the conference site, and even personally attend to specific things, such as arranging tables and moving chairs. All things are put in perfect order. And all participants are impressed and give thumbs up for the administrative team. “We are all owed to the outstanding work of Mammy Xu.”
